From reading through the iBeacon 101 Guide, we know that any iPhone 4S or later that runs on iOS7 can be configured to act as an iBeacon transmitter. This of course can also be done through configuring BLE hardware, but many of us already have iPhones on hand and can begin testing iBeacon right away. Your iPhone will broadcast particular UUIDs and major/minor values that other apps or devices will be able to receive. Take a look at the video below and follow the steps.
